Into the wild, I started watching this yesterday without any prior knowledge about the film. The first few scenes had me thinking this was going to be a typical american travel adventure. I was far wrong. The film is based on the journals and information provided by the family of a young man who ran away from society.

His act was not one of rebellion, but a pursuit of finding real and true happiness. During his travels he reads and writes, he tries to define a philosophy for life.

Towards the end of his long journey, he concludes that he mistook his happiness being real. “Happiness is only real when it is shared.”

The story is gripping, fresh and real. It ends in tragedy, and a life with no regrets. This is a must see for 2007.

The cinematography is good, but not deserving of any great praise. The acting is well portrayed. I think that many will cry during this film, and at the end will leave thinking wow.

In all this film follows the story of a great and truly individually thinking guy, that will have you thinking for days.
